Winter is getting long here, folks. The temps have been around zero. The snow is deep. Time to treat the dogs to new chew-toys, so they can lay in the sun and munch away some boredom.
Jackie has a largemouth rubber fish. She won't rest until the squeaker is kaput.

I know you are gonna roll your eyes at me for saying this, but I miss snowy winters. Those icicles on the restaurant look deadly, though. Yikes!

The dogs and the humans here accept that a bit of winter is nice and interesting. Several months of the stuff is not so nice and interesting.
A glimpse of reality; today at sunset after work I hurried to excavate lots of frozen,snow-crusted dog poop in the back yard before it rains tomorrow.
