As we were inspecting some mole tunnels that have wound their way around our front yard Alex spotted a very small frog. Carrie immediately wanted to pick it up. Michaela was interested, but not as much as we thought she would have been. She went on into the house and Carrie, Alex, Lily and I stayed outside to snap some pictures of this cute little creature. Below is a picture of the frog clinging to Alex's fleece shirt.
You can get a good idea of this frog's size comparing it to the garden hose.
The frog sure was a hopper! It even jumped into Carrie's hair! She wasn't too excited about that though! This frog didn't really want to stop for pictures. However, when Michaela was 4 years old a little frog she had found decided to perch right on her nose!

OMG - that picture of your daughter with the frog on her nose is so adorable! What a precious face she has. Watching her smile makes me want to smile too. Also, cool frog. I love pictures of interesting insects. My 6 year old must be rubbing off on me.
My 6 year old rubbed off on me too! She did an insect collection for our local 4H-fair this past summer. Ever since I have always been on the lookout for "cool" bugs that she doesn't have in her collection!
That frog is so neat looking - and love the photo w/ your daughter - precious!!
Great nose shot.
Terrific photo.
Well done.
